NBA Game Summary - Sacramento at Memphis

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Pau Gasol had 24 points to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to an 84-78 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
Chucky Atkins added 17 points and Eddie Jones had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Grizzlies, who won their final three games heading into the All-Star break. Shane Battier's three-pointer gave Memphis the lead for good with 4:34 remaining.
Kevin Martin had 14 points to lead the Kings, who lost for just the second time in seven contests leading into the break. Mike Bibby and Kenny Thomas each had 12 points. Thomas also had 12 rebounds, but committed a crucial turnover in the final minute.
Battier's three made the score 80-78 and neither team scored again until there were 13.9 seconds left.
Thomas had a chance to tie the game with 21 seconds left, but dribbled the ball off his foot under the basket. Jones then hit two free throws, and Ron Artest and Bibby both missed three-point attempts in the closing seconds.
Atkins, who had blocked a Bibby shot with 53 seconds left, hit two foul shots for the final margin.
Battier finished with 10 points, as the Grizzlies shot 44.6 percent.
Francisco Garcia had 11 points, while Brad Miller and Artest each had 10 for the Kings, who finished at a 36.8 percent clip. Artest also had six rebounds, five steals and four assists.
Neither team led by more than eight points. Memphis was ahead 23-19 after one quarter, but fell behind 47-42 at halftime. The Grizzlies led 66-65 going into the fourth.
The Grizzlies played without Mike Miller (sprained left ankle)...Lorenzen Wright had nine rebounds for the Grizzlies...Memphis is 9-4 against the Pacific Division...Sacramento has still won 14 of the last 17 meetings.
