NBA Game Summary - Dallas at Portland

Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Jerry Stackhouse had a season-high 29 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks in a 95-89 overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.
Dirk Nowitzki had 23 points and five rebounds and Devin Harris added 15 points for the Mavericks, winners of their last five games.
Josh Howard added 13 points and seven rebounds in the win for Dallas, which has defeated Portland eight straight times.
Zach Randolph had 23 points, 11 rebounds and five assists and Steve Blake had a season-high 20 points for the Trail Blazers, who had a four-game winning streak stopped.
The Trail Blazers were down by 10 points with under seven minutes to play, but tied it up thanks to a 15-5 run capped by a Blake trey with 3.8 seconds remaining that forced overtime.
Blake continued his hot shooting with a scoop shot off the glass to give his team a 81-79 lead on Portland's first possession of OT.
Dallas took a 84-81 advantage after a basket by Nowitzki and a basket and free throw by Stackhouse with 2:27 to play. But Blake drained another basket behind the arc to tie the game back up with 2:02 left.
The teams exchanged baskets before Harris was fouled on a layup. After hitting his free throw, the Mavericks had an 89-86 lead with 41 seconds left.
The Trail Blazers missed on their next two possessions and Harris and Nowitzki hit free throws to put the game out of reach.
The game was close early in the first 12 minutes, but Dallas closed the first quarter out with a 10-4 run and had a 22-15 lead going into the second.
The Mavericks continued to hold their lead through much of the second quarter. However, the Trail Blazers finished out the half with a 7-1 run and took a 41-39 lead into the locker room.
The lead changed hands several times in the third quarter as neither team was able to pull away. But Stackhouse nailed a trey to put Dallas ahead 60-58 with under two minutes left in the period and the Mavs took a 65-60 lead into the final 12 minutes.
Dallas had the largest lead of the game after Stackhouse hit two free throws to give his club a 74-64 advantage with under seven minutes to play.
However, Portland climbed back into the game with its 15-5 spurt highlighted by three straight three-pointers by Blake, the last of which tied the game up at 79 apiece with 3.8 seconds left in regulation.
