NBA Game Summary - Utah at Denver

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Carmelo Anthony poured in a game-high 31 points on 11-of-22 shooting from the floor as the Denver Nuggets dominated the Utah Jazz, 113-83, at the Pepsi Center.
Kenyon Martin added 16 points with six rebounds for Denver, which has won four games in a row and six of its last seven games.
Andre Miller donated 13 points with five assists while Earl Watson contributed eight points with nine assists in the victory.
"I like the way we played," said Denver head coach George Karl. "It was the most complete offensive performance we've had all season."
Devin Brown came off the bench to score 23 points for the Jazz, who have lost three of their last four games. Andrei Kirilenko struggled from the field on 5-of-15 shooting for 11 points.
The Nuggets led all the way in this contest en route to winning their third game in a row over the Jazz.
"They are good and did a lot of good things, but our guys did not respond," said Utah head coach Jerry Sloan. "That's the most disappointing game I've been involved with."
Denver led 23-16 after the opening 12 minutes of action with Anthony netting 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting.
The Nuggets took a 59-38 advantage into the locker room after outscoring the Jazz 36-22 in the second quarter.
Anthony had a solid first half with 23 points and Denver shot 51.2 percent from the floor as a team.
With 3:43 remaining in the third quarter, Watson hit a running jumper in the lane to extend the Nuggets lead to 75-48. Denver outscored Utah 24-20 in the period for a 83-58 advantage heading into the final quarter of action.
The Nuggets continued to dominate and opened the final stanza with a 18-11 surge that put them well ahead at 101-69. They outscored the Jazz 30-25 in the fourth quarter.
The Nuggets improved to 14-8 at home this season...Denver finished the game with a 50 percent field goal percentage...Greg Buckner came off the bench to score 11 points for the Nuggets...The Jazz are now 11-11 as the visitor this season...Denver converted 28-of-36 shots from the charity stripe and were 5- of-11 from beyond the arc...Utah forward Mehmet Okur scored only five points on 2-of-11 shooting.
