NBA Game Summary - Phoenix at LA Clippers

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Shawn Marion had 30 points and 17 rebounds as the Phoenix Suns burned the Los Angeles Clippers, 112-102, at the Staples Center.
Leandro Barbosa scored 21 points and Steve Nash contributed 20 points and 18 assists for the Suns, who have won three of their last four games and 10 of their last 13 contests.
"Shawn and Steve had huge games," said Phoenix coach Mike D'Antoni. "It was a great effort all around. Steve is playing like the MVP he is. We can't live without him."
Sam Cassell had 27 points and Elton Brand netted 19 points for the Clippers, who had a three-game winning streak snapped. Chris Kaman netted 13 and pulled down 17 rebounds.
The Clippers narrowed the gap to 84-72 on Quinton Ross' dunk with 3:50 left in the third stanza, however, the Suns hot shooting continued with Marion scoring three straight Phoenix buckets. Phoenix held a 96-80 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Los Angeles fought back with a 14-6 spurt, capped by Daniel Ewing's jumper followed by his trey with 7:18 to play to make the score 100-94.
Phoenix nailed 5-of-6 free throws in the final two minutes of the game to seal the victory, even though the Clippers outscored the Suns 54-45 in the second half.
The Suns led 30-24 after 12 minutes of play behind Marion's nine points.
Phoenix opened the second period with a 21-7 spurt, capped by Eddie House's three-pointer with 7:26 left in the half, to take a 51-31 edge.
The Clippers countered with a 9-0 run, including six points from Shaun Livingston.
The Suns closed the half with an 11-2 streak, highlighted by Marion's dunk with two seconds remaining to take a 67-48 edge. Phoenix outscored Los Angeles 37-24 in the second quarter.
