NBA Game Summary - LA Clippers at Indiana

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Stephen Jackson scored 24 points as the Indiana Pacers routed the Los Angeles Clippers, 97-75, at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Jermaine O'Neal registered a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Danny Granger added a career-high 16 points off the bench for the Pacers, who have won three in a row and five of their last six games.
Elton Brand and Chris Kaman each had a double-double in the loss, the Clippers' fifth in their last six games. Brand scored 29 and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Kaman had 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Both teams started the game off shooting poorly from the floor, as the Pacers hit 1-of-5 shots compared to the Clippers, who scored on just two of their first 17 from the field.
Indiana went up 12-4 in the first quarter, capitalized by a 9-0 run on a Jamaal Tinsley left-handed layup, but Brand and Shaun Livingston were able to get Los Angeles back in the game by scoring 10 of the Clippers' next 12 points to make the score 20-16.
After shooting 33 percent from the floor in the first 12 minutes, Los Angeles was only down 24-18 heading into the second quarter.
The Clippers were able to cut the lead to two, 24-22, scoring the first four points of the quarter, but Jackson hit a pair of free throws and guard Anthony Johnson scored the next five Pacers points. However, Brand wouldn't let Indiana get too far in front, hitting two consecutive jumpers to make the score 31-26.
"I went out and tried to play hard and really had fun out there tonight," Jackson said. "We worked on the defensive end, moved the ball on the offensive end, and you can see what it got us."
Indiana then opened up a nine-point lead at 35-26 with 7 1/2 minutes to go in the half, courtesy of an 11-2 run, as Tinsley drove the ball downcourt and fed a pass to Granger for the dunk.
In the third quarter Indiana went on an 8-2 run on a couple of Sarunas Jasikevicius three-pointers to make the lead 58-47 with 7 1/2 minutes left in the third.
The Clippers closed out the third period on a 5-1 run to narrow the deficit to 66-58, as Sam Cassell hit his first shot of the game after missing his previous seven.
Los Angeles cut the lead to four, 72-68, with just under nine minutes left in the game on a 10-6 run with back-to-back baskets from Livingston and Daniel Ewing. However, Fred Jones' three extended the lead to 75-68.
The Clippers couldn't keep up with Jackson and the Pacers, who went on a 19-1 run in the final minutes of the game to take their biggest lead at 24 points, 97-73, before the benches were emptied.
The Pacers shot 51.3 percent from the floor, compared to the Clippers at 37.1 percent...Cassell has connected on six of his last 25 shots...Kaman had scored a combined three points in the two previous games...Indiana outrebounded Los Angeles by a 52-43 margin.
