Sam Cassell added 24 points and Cuttino Mobley tallied 14 points and eight boards for the Clippers, who have posted back-to-back victories for the first time since winning four in a row to start December.
The Clippers played without forward Elton Brand for a second straight game. He's out with a sore right hip.
"Sam and Cat (Cuttino) did a great job at getting me the ball for easy shots," Kaman said. "I just wanted to give the team a lift with Elton out. I would appreciate it though if Elton would come back sooner than later."
Rashard Lewis scored 22 points and Damien Wilkins had 13 points and 10 boards for the Sonics, losers in five of their last six games. Ronald Murray added 14 points for Seattle, which continued to play without the services of guard Ray Allen.
Allen served the second game of his league-imposed three-game suspension for his part in a fight with Orlando's Keyon Dooling on Wednesday.
The Clippers led 23-19 after one quarter and scored 16 in a row during the second to widen the margin to 39-22. Kaman started the push with a three-point play and capped it with a slam with 6:24 left in the half.
LA was on top 50-40 at the break and continually put distance between the Sonics. Three straight baskets by Cassell made it 70-52 and the Clippers led by as many as 28 points, on the way to beating the Sonics for a third straight time.
