Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Mike Dunleavy tied a season high with 24 points and Ike Diogu added 21, as Golden State defeated the slumping Minnesota Timberwolves, 105-97, at The Arena in Oakland.

Dunleavy scored the Warriors' first 15 points of the fourth quarter to keep the club in front and also grabbed six boards in the victory.

Derek Fisher contributed 16 points and tied a career-high with 13 assists, Jason Richardson donated 15 points and pulled down seven rebounds and Troy Murphy posted a double-double with 10 points and 17 rebounds, as Golden State won for the second time in three games.

Ricky Davis tallied 29 points and Kevin Garnett notched his 22nd straight double-double with 20 points and 17 rebounds in Minnesota's seventh consecutive loss. The Timberwolves have also lost eight straight road contests.

Trailing 55-52 at the half, Golden State seized the lead during the third stanza.

The Warriors tallied seven straight points to square the game at 61-61 and took a 64-63 lead on Richardson's three-pointer with 4:56 left.

Diogu then scored four straight points with his two free throws increasing the edge to 68-63. Richardson buried a jumper several minutes later to make the score 75-67, and Golden State held a 75-69 advantage after three quarters.

Golden State scored the first seven points of the fourth period to open a double-digit lead. Dunleavy did all the work, draining a jumper, converting a three-point play and netting a fadeaway jumper to make the score 82-69 with 9:09 remaining.

Marcus Banks finger roll later in the period trimmed the deficit to 97-89 with 2:13 remaining, but the Timberwolves' defense didn't make a key stop as Fisher drained four free throws in the final two minutes to seal the victory.

Minnesota led 32-25 after the first quarter.

Golden State's win placed it above .500 at home with a 17-16 record...Minnesota fell to 8-25 as the visitor...In three contests between the two clubs this season, the home team has won every time...The Warriors made 25-of-37 from the charity stripe...Adonal Foyle had 10 points in the victory...Golden State's Baron Davis is expected to miss the next seven to 10 days with a sprained right ankle.
