NBA Game Summary - New York at Utah

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Jamal Crawford scored 20 points to lead the New York Knicks over the Utah Jazz, 73-62, in a defensive struggle at the Delta Center.
Quentin Richardson added 12 points for the Knicks, who have won consecutive games after opening the season with five straight losses. Stephon Marbury tallied 10 points and five assists and Eddy Curry had 10 points, nine rebounds and five blocks, as New York improved to 2-2 on its current six-game road trip.
The 62 points allowed were the lowest by the Knicks since the shot clock was introduced. Utah managed just eight points in the third quarter.
Rookie Deron Williams had 18 points to lead Utah, which shot a franchise-low 29.3 percent (22-of-75) from the floor. Mehmet Okur added 12 points and six rebounds for the Jazz, who have lost two in a row and three of four.
The Jazz led 16-15 after one quarter, but the Knicks held a 37-36 edge going into halftime.
Utah opened the second half on a surge and jumped out to a 40-37 lead early in the third. However, the Knicks answered with a 14-0 run to go ahead for good. Curry started the burst with a basket and Marbury ended it with a bucket of his own for a 51-40 cushion.
Curry, Marbury and Malik Rose combined to score 12 of the 14 points during the run, which allowed New York to cruise into the fourth with a 55-44 lead.
In the final stanza, Utah drew within single-digits at 57-48 on a C.J. Miles bucket, but the Knicks quickly extended that lead to 13 points on consecutive baskets by Trevor Ariza and Nate Robinson and the Knicks coasted to the finish.
The Knicks have won three straight over the Jazz.
Utah again played without forward Andrei Kirilenko, who is nursing a sprained ankle. He is listed as day-to-day but could miss up to two weeks of action...Utah shot just 4-of-18 from three-point range ...New York hit 42.2 percent of its shots, going 5-of-10 from three...The Knicks hit just 14-of-24 from the free throw line...Utah's Kris Humphries left the game late in the fourth quarter with a right hand injury...Utah fell to 1-2 at home...NY improved to 2-3 on the road.
