NBA Game Summary - Dallas at Sacramento

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Kenny Thomas scored six of his 10 points in the final minute as Sacramento held off Dallas 85-80 at Arco Arena.
Brad Miller posted 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings, whose record ascended above .500 for the first time all season. Ron Artest scored 15 points, while Kevin Martin had 14.
Dirk Nowitzki posted 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Mavericks, who had a three-game winning streak snapped. Marquis Daniels scored 19 points. Jason Terry, who scored eight points in the final three minutes, scored 14 points in the game. Jerry Stackhouse scored 13 points, while Erick Dampier added 11 rebounds.
Terry scored a jumper with 2:59 remaining to pull Dallas within 76-74.
Artest converted 1-of-2 from the charity stripe, but Sacramento got the rebound and Miller hit a jumper with 1:39 left to give the Kings a 79-74 lead.
Terry responded with another jumper to close Dallas' gap to 79-77 with 1:18 left, but Thomas scored a jumper with 56.3 seconds left to put the Kings back up by four.
Terry converted a three-point play with 49.4 seconds and Dallas drew within one, 81-80. Thomas responded with another jumper, however, with 29.6 seconds left to put the Kings up 83-80.
Daniels missed a game-tying three-pointer with about 20 seconds on the clock, but Wells missed a pair from the charity stripe to allow Dallas another chance to tie the game.
Terry got a good look with 13 seconds left, but fell short. Thomas converted a pair of free throws on the ensuing possession, and sealed the win for Sacramento with eight seconds left.
The Mavericks held a narrow 23-22 lead after the first quarter.
With the game deadlocked at 28, the Kings went on a 24-12 run ignited by an Abdur-Rahim jumper with 9:43 left in the second stanza. Nowitzki drained a trey with time running down to cut Dallas' halftime deficit to 52-43.
The Mavericks opened the third quarter on an 8-0 run ignited by a Nowitzki fadeaway to close their deficit to 52-51. The Kings held Dallas off and led 63-60 heading into the fourth.
The Kings are 21-11 as the host this season, and have won 12 in a row at ARCO Arena. The last time Sacramento lost in front of its home crowd was on January 8th to the Indiana Pacers.
Dallas coach Avery Johnson was ejected with 3:43 left in the third quarter after his second technical foul...This was the second meeting of the season between the clubs. On December 22nd, Nowitzki finished with 37 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, to lead the Mavericks past Sacramento, 105-95, at ARCO Arena...Dallas has lost 11 of its last 18 at Sacramento...The Mavericks are scheduled to host the Kings on April 4th at American Airlines Center.
