NBA Game Summary - Detroit at Golden State

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Chauncey Billups scored 29 points and hit two big free throws down the stretch to lift the Detroit Pistons past the Golden State Warriors, 106-103, at The Arena in Oakland.
Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace each netted 22 points for the Pistons, who have won their last five games. Hamilton added six assists, while Wallace chipped in with eight rebounds.
Tayshaun Prince scored 15 points for Detroit, which extended its road winning streak to four games.
Jason Richardson scored a game-high 36 points for the Warriors, who have lost two in a row following a five-game winning streak. Baron Davis added a double- double with 14 points and 14 assists. Derek Fisher chipped in 15 points off the bench in the loss.
The game featured 21 lead changes, was tied 19 times and wasn't decided until late in the fourth quarter.
Richardson's basket made it a two point contest at 98-96 with 42 seconds left, but Prince answered with two points to put the Pistons backup four. Fisher knocked down two free throws to make it 100-98 with 13 seconds remaining, but Hamilton hit two free throws of his own to make it a 102-98 contest.
After a timeout, Richardson connected on a three-point bucket from the left corner for a 102-101 game with nine seconds remaining and Billups was subsequently fouled. He would hit both free throws.
Davis was fouled on the ensuing inbounds pass after a timeout and hit both free throws, but Ben Wallace sneaked behind the defense and was wide open down court for an easy dunk to account for the final score.
Fisher's last second desperation three-pointer was no good.
The two teams fought a closely contested first quarter with four points being the biggest lead of the frame and Golden State took a 27-25 lead into the second. Golden State led by two again, 49-47, at the half.
The Warriors would then hold a four-point lead after three quarters.
Richardson's jumper extended the Warriors to a 68-63 lead with 3:06 left in the third and the two teams exchanged baskets down the stretch as the Warriors led 78-74 at the end of the frame.
Ben Wallace finished with 10 rebounds and nine points...Mike Dunleavy finished with 15 points for Golden State...The Warriors held the biggest lead in the contest at six...Detroit shot 51.3 percent from the floor to Golden State's 45.1 percent...The Warriors connected on 92.6 (25-of-27) percent of their free throws.
