NBA Game Summary - Seattle at Dallas

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Josh Howard scored 23 points and added eight rebounds as the Dallas Mavericks swept their season series with Seattle by recording a 110-91 win over the SuperSonics at American Airlines Center.
Howard led the Mavericks in scoring for a fourth consecutive games as Dallas won all three match-ups against Seattle this season. Jason Terry added 22 points in the win as Dallas extended its season-best winning streak to 11 games.
Jerry Stackhouse scored 17 points with a season-high seven assists off the bench, while Dirk Nowitzki added 17 points and eight boards.
Ray Allen netted 17 points to pace Seattle, which has lost three of its last four games. Damien Wilkins donated 14 points while Luke Ridnour and Robert Swift each scored 12.
"I thought that we just couldn't keep them off the boards," said Seattle head coach Bob Hill. "We talked about finishing our defensive sets and we'd get them to miss and then they'd get the rebound."
Down 8-4 early, the Mavericks enjoyed a 28-6 scoring edge through most of the first frame. Terry's three-pointer started the spurt, which came to an end with a Stackhouse basket with 1:18 left in the first to make it a 32-14 game.
Seattle then netted the last six points of the frame to close within 32-20 after 12 minutes.
However, the SuperSonics used a late run in the second to get back into the game. Wilkins' basket pulled Seattle to within seven at 37-30 early in the second frame. The two teams then kept pace with each other during the period and Swift's bucket cut the Sonics' deficit to 52-44 with 2:30 left.
The Sonics then scored seven of the last nine points in the second to close within 54-51 heading into halftime.
Dallas, though, extended its lead back to eight by the end of the third stanza. After Vladimir Radmanovic's three-pointer pulled the Sonics to within 56-55, Nowitzki netted four straight points to start a 9-0 Mavericks run that made it 65-55 with 7:48 remaining in the third.
Back-to-back three-pointers by Allen and Ridnour followed by a Swift bucket cut Seattle's deficit to two at 65-63 with 6:01 left.
Dallas held off the charge and closed out the third on a mini 6-2 run to lead 82-74 heading into the fourth. The Mavericks then opened up the fourth with an 8-0 spurt to take a 90-74 advantage and never looked back.
Consecutive scores by Nowitzki and Stackhouse extended Dallas to a 100-84 advantage with 5:49 remaining and the Mavericks led by as many as 21 in the final frame.
Erick Dampier added 11 points and tied a season-high with 14 rebounds off the bench for Dallas. Eight of Dampier's rebounds were offensive...Radmanovic finished with seven points, while Nick Collison netted 10 for Seattle...The Mavericks shot 47.3 percent from the floor to the Sonics' 44.3...Dallas held the rebound edge at 50-37.
