"Give Sacramento credit, they're a very good offensive team that passes the ball very well," Milwaukee coach Terry Stotts said. "We had to change our 'coverages' at halftime and I think it helped. The first half we tried to be aggressive. I don't necessarily think it was a lack of effort; we were trying to be aggressive on the ball, and they passed the ball extremely well on their pick-and-rolls."

Sacramento upheld its lead through the third quarter, ahead 90-82 heading into the fourth.

Milwaukee is a respectable 17-13 at home this season, but have lost four in a row at home.

Sacramento played the finale of a five-game road trip, during which it was 4-1. The Kings are just 11-20 as the visitor this season.

"We had a great trip," Sacramento coach Rick Adelman said. "We played consistently, and then came out today and played very well offensively. I just felt that if we could make a few stops and maintain our concentration we could pull away. We have put ourselves in pretty good position going home."
