NBA Game Summary - Portland at Dallas

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Jerry Stackhouse's three-pointer with 41 ticks remaining provided the dagger and Dallas came from behind to defeat Portland, 93-87, at American Airlines Center.
Stackhouse scored 21 points off the bench, Jason Terry tallied a team-high 26 points and Dirk Nowitzki posted a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds for Dallas, which has won two of its last three contests. Dallas also got back on the winning track at home, where it had won a franchise-record 16 straight games before falling to San Antonio on Sunday.
Zach Randolph poured in a game-high 33 points and grabbed eight boards, Juan Dixon contributed 17 points and college teammate Steve Blake donated 12 points and five assists in Portland's third straight defeat. Darius Miles added 11 points in the loss.
After falling down by double digits early in the contest, Dallas climbed out of the huge hole and finally seized the lead during the fourth period.
Dallas assumed its first lead of the game, 70-69, on a pair of Stackhouse free throws with 6:19 remaining in the contest. After the Mavericks opened a 75-71 edge, Portland fought back to square the game at 81-81 on Randolph's layup with 1:26 left.
Devin Harris made two free throws to push the Mavericks back in front then Stackhouse hit a huge three-pointer to extend the lead to 86-81. Dallas made its free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
Portland jumped out to 12-1 and 16-3 leads before Dallas ended the first period on a 14-7 scoring stretch to pull within 23-17. Each team held its own during the second stanza and the Trail Blazers led 43-37 at the half.
The Trail Blazers opened a 61-53 lead late in the third stanza, but Dallas ended the quarter on a 7-1 burst to pull within two. Stackhouse drained two free throws and Terry beat the buzzer with a three to make the score 62-60.
Dallas missed its first nine field goal attempts of the contest...The Mavericks improved to 3-0 versus Portland this season and will travel to the Rose Garden to face the Trail Blazers on Thursday night...Harris donated 13 points in the victory...Dallas improved to 28-5 at home...Portland fell to 6-25 on the road and lost its sixth straight as the visitor.
