NBA Game Summary - Cleveland at Memphis

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Pau Gasol scored a team-high 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Memphis Grizzlies over the Cleveland Cavaliers, 113-106, at FedEx Forum.
Mike Miller scored eight of his 13 points during a key 16-2 run that gave Memphis the lead for good, as the Grizzlies have now won consecutive games to improve to 2-1 on the young season.
Eddie Jones added 19 points for Memphis, which came out victorious one night after beating the Magic in Orlando.
LeBron James had a game-high 36 points and dished out six assists for the Cavs, who have dropped two straight after opening the season with a win versus the Hornets. Larry Hughes recorded 21 points for Cleveland, which wraps up a three-game road trip in Toronto on Monday.
Memphis beat Cleveland for the first time since April 7, 2004. The Cavs took both games in the series last season.
In the fourth quarter, Memphis extended to a 93-83 lead early on when Miller hit a three-pointer to end a 16-2 spurt that bridged the final two quarters. Miller had eight points during the run, hitting a pair of threes in the fourth and draining two shots from the free throw line in the final seconds of the third to send the Grizzlies into the final quarter with an 82-81 edge.
The Grizzlies continued to keep the Cavs at bay until consecutive baskets by Drew Gooden, the final one coming with just under two minutes remaining and drew Cleveland within 104-99.
The Grizzlies, however, called a time out and Gasol hit two free throws with 1:47 on the clock to make it a seven-point game. James then came up empty for the Cavs, and after a Damon Stoudamire turnover for Memphis and Hughes hit just 1-of-2 from the free throw line for Cleveland, Gasol hit a baseline jumper with 50.1 seconds left to secure the win.
Gooden ended with 14 points and 10 rebounds and Zydrunas Ilgauskas also had a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.
Lorenzen Wright had the lone double-double for the Grizzlies, recording 10 points and 13 boards.
Cleveland led 32-27 after one quarter and extended to a 43-34 advantage early in the second on an Alan Henderson bucket. The Grizzlies, however, answered with a 15-2 run to take a 49-45 edge. Jones had a pair of three-pointers during the burst, which was capped by a Gasol basket with 3 1/2 minutes remaining in the half.
Memphis would continue to hold the lead going into halftime at 56-55, but relinquished the advantage in the third.
Cleveland trailed 61-59 when it ran off six straight points to move in front. James' basket four minutes into the stanza extended the Cavs' lead to 65-61.
Cleveland has won 12 of the 19 all-time meetings between these two franchises...Shane Battier had 12 points for Memphis...Stoudamire had eight points for the Grizzlies, scoring all of them from the free throw line...Memphis shot 57.6 percent from the field and went 11-of-18 from three-point range...Cleveland shot 46 percent from the field.
