NBA Game Summary - Denver at Utah

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Mehmet Okur had 28 points and 11 rebounds to pace Utah to a 103-90 victory over the shorthanded Denver Nuggets at the Delta Center.
Andrei Kirilenko added 21 points, five rebounds, five blocks and five assists, as Utah snapped a three-game skid while extending Denver's slide to four contests. Keith McLeod tallied 18 points for the Jazz, who shot a blistering 55.2 percent from the field and overcame the absence of guard Gordan Giricek.
Giricek, averaging 10.6 points per game, fourth-best on the team, didn't play due to left Achilles tendinitis.
Marcus Camby missed the game for Denver with a strained left shoulder and he's day-to-day. Carmelo Anthony had 20 points to pace the Nuggets, who saw their lead in the Northwest Division shrink to two games over Utah and Minnesota. Kenyon Martin contributed 18 points and Andre Miller added 15 points and nine assists for Denver, which was outrebounded, 40-23.
The Jazz trailed 54-49 at the half, but opened the third on a 9-2 spurt, going ahead on a Kirilenko dunk. Utah went ahead for good with seven straight points later in the period, capped by a pair of free throws from Kirilenko to push the score to 67-60 with 4:19 left.
Utah was ahead 75-67 going into the fourth and immediately opened breathing room with another 9-2 run. Matt Harpring's jumper ended the rally for an 84-69 advantage, and the Jazz led by double digits the rest of the way.
The Jazz were ahead 34-27 after the opening 12 minutes, but Denver began the second quarter with a 10-2 spurt, finished by a layup from Eduardo Najera.
Utah had lost three straight meetings, including a 113-83 rout at Denver on January 20...Francisco Elson had 10 points for Denver...Milt Palacio had 12 points and seven assists, while Harpring totaled 11 points for Utah...Denver lost despite just five turnovers.
