NBA Game Summary - Detroit at Seattle

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Richard Hamilton netted 20 points, including the game-winning jumper with 0.2 seconds left, as Detroit edged Seattle, 98-96.
Rasheed Wallace had 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Chauncey Billups tallied 21 points and 11 assists for Detroit, which has won seven of eight. Tayshaun Prince scored 11 points and Antonio McDyess netted 10. Ben Wallace added nine points and 10 boards for the Pistons.
Ray Allen posted 31 points and nine rebounds for Seattle, which has lost three of four. Rashard Lewis scored 20 points, while Luke Ridnour had 16. Chris Wilcox added 14 points.
Scoring the final seven Pistons points, Hamilton ripped around a double-screen across the baseline and drilled a jumper from the right corner to win the game for Detroit.
"We got guys that can take the big shot," Billups said. "Rasheed has been hitting big shots. Rip has too, and I have myself. It's huge to know there are a lot of guys who can hit that shot."
Rasheed Wallace put back a missed Billups three-pointer with 1:54 left to put Detroit up 91-87.
Wilcox found Allen streaking through the lane for a slam with 1:39 left to cut Seattle's gap to two points. After a missed Prince three, Allen grabbed an offensive rebound and banked in a short jumper to tie the game.
Hamilton scored a jumper from the left corner with 55.8 seconds left to give Detroit a 93-91 lead.
Ridnour drained a three with 40.5 seconds left to give Seattle the lead, 94-93. Hamilton hit a three on the ensuing possession with 28.2 seconds left to give the Pistons a 96-94 lead.
Ridnour converted a pair of free throws with 20.9 seconds on the clock to tie the game at 96, before Hamilton's dagger.
Seattle attained an early 24-21 first-quarter lead. Detroit finished the second quarter on a 17-4 run capped a Rasheed Wallace jumper at the buzzer to take a 50-47 lead at halftime.
Seattle closed the gap by just one point during the third quarter to trail 71-69 heading into the fourth.
"We are a veteran team that knows what it takes to go out there and execute," Ben Wallace said. "We know that sometimes it goes, and sometimes it does not. There is no need to get excited about any one situation. We know we have to go out and play the game."
Detroit played the third of a four-game road trip. The Pistons, who defeated Cleveland on Monday in the first game of the swing, are an impressive 22-8 as the visitor this season. They are scheduled to close out the current road trip on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The SuperSonics are just 13-15 as the host this season. They are scheduled to host Utah, Memphis and Minnesota in the final three contests of the current stand. Seattle has won three of its last five at KeyArena.
This was the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs. On January 6th, Prince had 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Billups also netted 21 and dished out seven assists, as Detroit downed Seattle, 97-85, at The Palace of Auburn Hills...Detroit has won three straight and four of the last five meetings in this series.
