NBA Game Summary - Atlanta at Toronto

Final Score: Atlanta 113, Toronto 111 (OT)

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Joe Johnson and Al Harrington each scored 26 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 113-111 overtime win over the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.

Johnson also dished out nine assists and grabbed seven boards and Harrington pulled down nine rebounds. Josh Childress added 15 points and 10 boards and Josh Smith swatted away seven shots for the Hawks, who have won two straight games and snapped a five game losing streak to the Raptors.

Chris Bosh paced Toronto with 27 points and Charlie Villanueva had 23 points and 10 rebounds in the loss, the Raptors fifth consecutive setback.

Mike James' jumper put the Raptors in front 90-88 at the 8:23 mark, but Atlanta went on a 15-5 streak, highlighted by a pair of Salim Stoudamire three-pointers, to make the score 103-95.

A pair of free throws from Joey Graham and Villanueva's basket cut the deficit to 103-99, but Harrington nailed a turnaround jumper with one second left on the shot clock to extend the lead.

James got free on the inbound pass and drained a long distance shot on the other end to narrow the gap to 105-102.

On the next possession Villanueva stole the ball and Morris Peterson was fouled behind the arc by Childress. Peterson connected on all three from the charity stripe to tie the game at 105. Johnson had a chance to win the game at the buzzer but his shot did not drop.

Toronto took a 110-108 lead on Villanueva's three-point play, but Harrington hit 1-of-2 at the line. Childress grabbed the rebound and his hook-shot in the paint dropped to put the Raptors ahead 111-110 with 3:23 remaining.

Johnson's running jumper made the score 113-110 and James only hit one free throw on the other end. After Stoudamire missed a three, James had a chance to give the Raptors the lead but his shot from beyond the arc would not fall.

Peterson had another chance to tie the game but his jumper rimmed out.

The Hawks held a 30-24 edge after 12 minutes of play, but the Raptors grabbed a 52-50 lead on Bosh's jumper in the paint with time running down.

Atlanta led 81-79 heading into the final frame.

Game Notes

Atlanta has won two of three on the road...The Hawks are 4-1 in overtime, while the Raptors are 1-6 in the extra session...Atlanta got 35 points from its bench...The Hawks won the rebounding battle 49-35.
