NBA Game Summary - Utah at Portland

Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Ruben Patterson scored 23 points and Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 20 to lead the Portland Trail Blazers over the Utah Jazz, 100-82, at the Rose Garden.
Damon Stoudamire, who sparked a 20-2 run in the second quarter that put Portland well ahead, added 18 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds for the Blazers, who ended a three-game slide.
"We're just having fun," said Patterson. "We just want to go out there and win. It was a good time for all of us.
"We've got two more (games) and want to finish the season strong," he added.
Mehmet Okur had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Kirk Snyder had 15 points and six rebounds for the Jazz, who have dropped two straight and four of five.
The Blazers grabbed control in the second quarter. Ahead 34-32 3 1/2 minutes into the frame, Travis Outlaw started a 20-2 burst that put the club ahead by 20 points. Stoudamire had 11 points during the burst, which was capped by a Viktor Khryapa layup with 2:26 left that gave Portland a 54-34 cushion.
Portland then cruised into the break with a 54-39 lead and continued to coast in the second half. Patterson's bucket with 1:40 remaining in the third gave the Blazers a 24-point lead, 75-51, and Portland carried a 78-54 cushion into the fourth.
Utah never threatened in the final 12 minutes, as the team has dropped 11 of 12 on the road.
Darius Miles had 11 points for the Blazers, who split the four-game season series against the Jazz.
Matt Harpring ended with 11 points and 10 boards for the Jazz.
Stoudamire hit four three-pointers to give him a franchise single-season record 180 for the season...Cliff Robinson held the old mark of 178...Portland shot 54 percent for the game...Utah hit only 39 percent of its shots.
