NBA Game Summary - Milwaukee at Seattle

(Tuesday, March 22nd)

Final Score: Seattle 92, Milwaukee 84

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Rashard Lewis scored 29 points and Luke Ridnour poured in a career-high 21 points and dished out nine assists to lead the Seattle SuperSonics over the Milwaukee Bucks, 92-84, at KeyArena.

Ronald Murray tallied 13 points and Antonio Daniels had 10 for the Sonics, who have won three in a row and five of six overall.

Ray Allen missed his first game after suffering a sprained right ankle in Sunday's win over the Lakers.

Lewis shot 11-of-23 from the field, including 7-of-11 from three, as the Sonics ended the contest shooting 41 percent from the floor and 46 percent (10-of-22) from behind the arc.

"It feels good to get the win," said Ridnour. "That's what we needed to do and that's what we did. We had some guys down so we had find ways to win.

"They were double-teaming Rashard on his post-ups," he added. "I was able to come off some pick-and-rolls and hit some shots off the double-down."

Michael Redd had 22 points to lead the Bucks, who have lost two straight. Desmond Mason added 21 points for Milwaukee, which has dropped five of seven overall and six in a row on the road.

The game was close throughout. Seattle carried a 68-63 edge into the fourth quarter and extended the lead to 79-73 on Daniels' three-pointer with 6:52 remaining that capped a 6-0 burst. Erick Strickland had tied the game for Milwaukee with a jumper before the run.

The Bucks responded and got within 81-79 on a pair of Calvin Booth free throws with 3:25 on the clock, but Lewis drained a three 56 seconds later and Daniels followed that with a jumper at the 1:51 mark to increase the lead to 86-79.

Milwaukee could only get within 86-82, as Seattle hit 6-of-8 free throws in the final minute to secure the win.

"We have been playing as a team all year," said Daniel. "When someone goes down we just need to be ready to play, no matter who it is. We have had different guys go down through the course of the season and we have to be ready to play."

Dan Gadzuric had nine points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks.
