Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Baron Davis scored a game-high 33 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Golden State over Phoenix, 110-100, at America West Arena.
Davis shot 11-of-21 from the field, including 7-of-10 from three-point range, as the Warriors have won two straight and three of four. Jason Richardson added 19 points and 10 rebounds for Golden State, which used a 12-0 run midway through the fourth quarter to capture the victory.
Amare Stoudemire had 31 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who have dropped two of three. Shawn Marion added 28 points and 17 boards, as Phoenix lost for only the ninth time in 32 home games this season.
After a pair of Marion buckets gave the Suns a 90-88 lead with eight minutes left in the contest, the Warriors scored 12 straight points to take the lead for good. Davis had five points during the burst, which was capped by two Richardson free throws with 3:46 remaining.
Golden State later increased it lead to 104-92 on an Adonal Foyle dunk with 2:18 on the clock and the Warriors cruised to the finish.
Derek Fisher had 19 points for the Warriors, who beat the Suns for the first time in three meetings this season.
The Suns hit only 5-of-23 from the three-point range.
Golden State led 31-26 after one quarter and went into halftime with a slim 54-53 advantage. Phoenix went into the fourth with an 83-82 edge.
Phoenix fell to 21-4 against teams with losing records this season...Steve Nash had 12 points and 13 assists for his 30th double-double of the season...Marion has 40 double-doubles...The Suns have scored at least 100 points in 17 straight games...Davis set a personal high since joining the Warriors, who are 8-6 since acquiring him from New Orleans...Phoenix's Walter McCarty left the game with back spasms.
