NBA Game Summary - Portland at Houston

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - David Wesley and Bob Sura finished with 21 points each to lead the Houston Rockets over the Portland Trail Blazers, 108-77, at the Toyota Center.
Sura, who also had six assists, shot 7-of-8 from the field, while Wesley hit 8-of-10 shots for Houston, which shot 51 percent for the contest. Tracy McGrady added 19 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Rockets, who have won six in a row.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 20 points for the Blazers, who have lost two straight and eight of nine. Joel Przybilla added 18 points and eight rebounds for Portland, losers of six in a row to Houston.
Houston began to build its lead in the first quarter. Trailing 19-16, the club went on a 16-4 run to take a 32-23 advantage. McGrady had six points for the Rockets during the burst, which was capped by a Wesley jumper with 1:15 left in the stanza. During the run, Scott Padgett's three-pointer with 4:22 on the clock gave Houston the lead for good, 22-19, and the team went into the second with a 34-25 cushion.
Wesley scored the first seven points of the second to increase the lead to 41-25. The advantage later ballooned to 49-31 on a Dikembe Mutombo layup with 5:35 remaining and the Rockets went into the break with a 57-43 lead.
In the third quarter, the lead reached 20 points for the first time when McGrady hit a three-pointer with 4:11 on the clock for a 77-55 cushion. Houston then cruised into the fourth with an 85-64 cushion.
The fourth quarter was much of the same, as the Rockets opened the frame with 10 straight points to extend the lead to 31 points, 95-64.
Yao Ming had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Rockets, who have won 15 of 19 overall and seven of 10 at home.
Portland has dropped five straight and 12 of its last 13 on the road.
Travis Outlaw had 12 points for the Blazers...Portland shot 35 percent for the game...Houston has held opponents to under 100 points in 13 of 15 games...Portland is 4-12 in Wednesday games.
