Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Peja Stojakovic scored 27 points to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 105-94 victory over the Orlando Magic Tuesday night at ARCO Arena.
Mike Bibby added 21 with 10 assists for the Kings, who have won four of their last five games. Kenny Thomas chipped in with 16 and 11 boards, while Brian Skinner contributed 13 with 11 rebounds. The Kings have won four of their last five games.
Steve Francis had 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the loss, the fifth straight for Orlando. Grant Hill scored 24 for the Magic, who have lost 10 straight at Sacramento.
The Kings had a 14-point lead at the break, but Orlando managed to pull within 77-71 heading into final frame. Sacramento was able to hold on and was back on top by 11 midway through the final frame.
A three by Stojakovic from the left corner gave the Kings a 103-90 lead with 2:16 to play and Sacramento was not threatened again.
Stojakovic was 7-of-10 from the field in the first half and had 15 points to help the Kings build a 61-47 halftime lead. Thomas was also in double figures before the break with 10 points.
The Kings shot a sizzling 62 percent (29-of-47) in the opening half.
