NBA Game Summary - Milwaukee at Miami

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 29 points and Shaquille O'Neal posted 21 points and nine rebounds, as the red-hot Miami Heat rolled to an easy 110-71 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Wade connected on 10-of-12 attempts from the field for the Heat, who have won nine straight and 16 of their last 18 contests. Damon Jones netted 15 points in the victory and Eddie Jones chipped in 10.
The Heat shot 55-percent from the field compared to Milwaukee's paltry 32- percent.
"I thought we played all the way through," said Heat coach Jeff Van Gundy. "It was a pretty dominating performance at both ends of the floor."
Michael Redd recorded 14 points to lead the Bucks, who suffered their worst- ever loss to the Heat. Milwaukee has dropped three in a row and six of its last eight games overall.
Marcus Fizer had 11 points in the setback and Maurice Williams scored 10.
"We did not take the challenge tonight," said Bucks coach Terry Porter. "They got out on us early and we did not respond. It is very disappointing that we did not compete."
The Heat, who never trailed in the game, held a slim 21-19 edge with 2:39 left in the first quarter. However, they scored eight of the period's final 11 points to take a 29-22 advantage into the second quarter.
Miami then dominated play in the second quarter, outscoring the Bucks 31-15 in the period. Early in the quarter, the Bucks trimmed the lead to 33-26 after a Toni Kukoc three-pointer. However, the Heat went on a 16-5 stretch to take an 18-point advantage. Wade scored the first five points of the surge and Shandon Anderson's dunk made it 49-31 with 5:39 left. Miami would carry a 60-37 cushion into the locker room at halftime.
The Heat shot 61-percent in the first half, while limiting Milwaukee to 32- percent from the floor. Wade led all scorers with 21 points at the break, while Redd paced the Bucks with 10.
Things continued to get worse for the Bucks in the third quarter, as Miami continued its hot shooting. Miami outscored Milwaukee, 32-19, in the period to push its advantage to 92-56 after 36 minutes of action.
The Heat led by as many as 40 points in the fourth quarter, as they cruised to the big win.
The Heat have won 13 straight and 15 of their last 16 home contests. The 13- game home winning streak is the longest within a season in franchise history. The official record of 14 wins included the last 12 home tests of last year and the first two from this season...The Heat have won their last seven games by an average margin of 20.9 points...Miami has won five in a row over the Bucks...Miami center Alonzo Mourning finished with eight points in nine minutes of action...It marked Miami's largest margin of victory this year and was the third biggest in franchise history.
