Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Chauncey Billups scored 20 points to lead Detroit to an 88-76 win over Indiana at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Richard Hamilton added 17 and Tayshaun Prince contributed 16 points and seven rebounds for the Pistons, who have won two straight following a four-game losing streak.

Jermaine O'Neal scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Pacers, who have dropped three straight contests. Fred Jones netted 14 points and Stephen Jackson had 11 in the loss.
"I've got to stay positive with this group," Indiana head coach Rick Carlisle said. "There are a lot of games to play and this team will get better."
This marked the second game between the teams since the melee that erupted in Detroit back on November 19 that saw several Indiana players rush into the crowd to fight the Piston fans. Following the disgraceful events, a handful of players from both teams were suspended for their actions.
Indiana forward Ron Artest, who was suspended for the remainder of the season, is now the only player that has not been reinstated following the altercation. Jackson returned to the court on Wednesday night as he finished serving his 30-game suspension and played in only his second contest since the brawl.
Detroit led 26-20 after the first quarter and increased its edge to 38-25 on Rasheed Wallace's turnaround jumper with 6:25 remaining in the opening half.
The Pacers then trailed 47-35 in the waning minutes, but ended the period with a 5-0 run, keyed by three points from O'Neal, to get within 47-40 at the intermission.
Prince scored 12 points and Billups added 10 for the Pistons, who shot a blistering 59 percent in the first half. O'Neal poured in 17 points for Indiana, which hit on 44 percent from the floor in the opening 24 minutes.
Detroit began the second half in strong fashion as Hamilton's field goal with around eight minutes left capped a 12-6 run and made it 59-46. The Pistons continued to widen their lead as it rose to 15 points courtesy of Hamilton's three-pointer with 2:22 left in the third period.
However, Indiana reeled off six straight points, capped by Jones' three- pointer, to make it a nine-point contest. The Pacers eventually trailed 70-57 after three quarters.
Detroit did not allow the margin to get under eight points in the fourth quarter and coasted to the double-digit win.
"We know what it takes to win games now," Ben Wallace said. "We've been to the promised land and we know what it takes to get back there."
Detroit snapped a three-game road losing streak...Indiana has lost eight of its last 12 games...The Pistons lead the season-series 2-1.
