Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - LeBron James posted his second triple-double in three games as the Cleveland Cavaliers closed their season-long, six-game road trip with a 105-87 victory over the Golden State Warriors at The Arena in Oakland.
James finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for Cleveland, which finished its road trip 3-3.
All of Cleveland's starters scored in double digits, but it was a three- pointer by 7-foot-3 center Zydrunas Ilgauskas with less than a minute remaining that got James his 10th assist and the triple-double. It was the second three- pointer of the season for Ilgauskas, who had 18 points and eight rebounds.
In his first start of the season, Eric Snow had 16 points and 12 assists, Drew Gooden added 18 points and Ira Newble chipped in 10.
But this game was all about James, who took over in the fourth quarter.
With the Cavs leading, 83-77, three minutes into the final quarter, James delivered the win by rattling off 10 of Cleveland's next 12 points as the Cavs stretched their lead to 95-80.
Leading Golden State, which has lost 11 of its last 12 games, was Jason Richardson with 22 points.
Derek Fisher contributed 18 points and Troy Murphy netted 15 in the loss.
With Golden State leading, 17-16, Cleveland closed the final 3:09 of the first quarter on an 11-5 run with Anderson Varejao dropping in two baskets as the Cavaliers led, 27-22, after 12 minutes.
With Cleveland ahead 43-38, in the second quarter, Gooden scored 10 consecutive points as the Cavs took a 56-47 advantage into intermission.
Golden State used a 10-2 run to cut the Cavs' lead to single digits, 75-69, with less than two minutes remaining in the third quarter, which ended with Cleveland ahead, 79-73, and set up James monster fourth quarter.
The Warriors hit just 6-of-23 three-point attempts (26 percent) and were outrebounded 49-33.
