NBA Game Summary - Phoenix at LA Clippers

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Joe Johnson scored a game-high 23 points and added six assists to lead Phoenix over the Los Angeles Clippers, 108-91, at Staples Center.
Shawn Marion added 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns, who have won their last five games since a loss in San Antonio. Before that they reeled off an 11-game tear.
"They tried to match up with us and it's tough," said Johnson. "They tried to play us our way and we beat them at it."
Bobby Simmons posted 22 points and 11 boards for the Clippers, who fell for the first time in four outings.
The Suns, who never trailed in the lop-sided affair, ended the first quarter on an 18-4 run and they never looked back. Amare Stoudemire capped off the burst on a basket with 20 seconds left and Phoenix took a 33-14 advantage into the second quarter.
In fact Phoenix led by double-digits the rest of the game. At the intermission, the Suns were up 69-46 before taking a 95-74 edge into the final 12 minutes.
The Suns led by as many as 23 points numerous times throughout.
The Clippers only shot 40 percent from the field and turned the ball over 16 times.
Phoenix, 15-2 on the road, closed out a three-game trek, and will host the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
The Suns defeated the Clippers, 122-111, in LA on November 21 to snap a two- game losing streak in the series. The road team has won five straight, and 11 of the last 13 meetings...The Clippers will visit Seattle on Tuesday to begin a home-and-home.
