The Sonics responded with eight straight points. Daniels scored to pull the Sonics within one and a jumper by Vladimir Radmanovic gave Seattle a 98-97 edge. Lewis hit a jumper with 41 seconds left to put Seattle up by three.

Mobley scored again to cut the Sonics lead to three, but Daniels sealed the victory with two more from the line with 14 seconds remaining.

The Kings trailed through much of the second half and were down 88-79 after a three-pointer by Radmanovic with under 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Sacramento then used a 12-3 run to tie the game. Brad Miller made two free throws with 5 1/2 minutes left to knot the score at 91-91.
