NBA Game Summary - Phoenix at Utah

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Amare Stoudemire scored 29 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Phoenix to a 115-102 win over Utah at the Delta Center.
Shawn Marion finished with 21 points and nine rebounds for the Suns, who have won eight straight for the first time since February 6-24, 2000. Steve Nash contributed 20 points and 14 assists.
Carlos Boozer finished with 27 points and a season-high 18 rebounds for the Jazz, who have lost two straight and four of their last five games. Matt Harpring added 19 points.
Utah played without forward Andrei Kirilenko, who was placed on the injured list with a sprained right knee.
Quentin Richardson posted 18 points for Phoenix, which mounted a decisive 23-8 run to extend a one-point advantage. Stoudemire hit two foul shots with 2:33 to play to put his team ahead 110-94.
"We always know we're going to get a run," Richardson said. "[Tonight] it happened right when we needed it to."
Utah got within 112-101, but no closer.
Nash hit a jumper midway through the first quarter to put the Suns ahead 21-11.
A three-pointer by Raja Bell, with around three minutes left in the quarter, capped a 10-point burst and forged a 21-21 tie for Utah. The team led 28-27 at the end of the first.
Early in the second quarter, the Jazz went ahead 34-28 on a three-pointer by Mehmet Okur.
But Phoenix responded with 10 straight points to highlight a 14-1 run. Marion's dunk midway through put his team ahead 42-35.
Late in the second, Utah went ahead 51-49 on a basket by Boozer. However, the Suns forced a 53-53 tie at halftime.
With less than five minutes left in a tightly contested third quarter, Marion hit two foul shots to open a 74-67 edge for the Suns.
But the Jazz scored the final six points of the third to get within 82-80 at the end of the quarter.
They forced an 82-82 tie early in the fourth quarter, then pulled within 87-86 on a 17-foot jumper by Kris Humphries less than four minutes into the fourth.
"I just thought we had a good chance to win the game," Boozer said. "It seems like we just ran out of gas in the fourth quarter."
Joe Johnson registered 15 points for Phoenix, which is off to its best start since beginning the 1980-81 season 14-2...Humphries chipped in with 13 points for the Jazz, who fell to 4-4 at home this season....The Suns, who improved to 7-1 on the road, haven't lost since November 13 against Sacramento.
