NBA Game Summary - Detroit at Milwaukee

Final Score: Milwaukee 96, Detroit 90

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Michael Redd scored four straight points down the stretch to rally Milwaukee to a 96-90 win over Detroit at the Bradley Center.

Redd finished with a game-high 29 points for the Bucks, who snapped a six-game losing streak. Keith Van Horn finished with 20 points.

"Tonight we had some guys come up with some big stops," Bucks head coach Terry Porter said. "We needed to make stops down the stretch and we did."

Tayshaun Prince posted 20 points and nine rebounds for the Pistons, who have lost three of their last four games. Rasheed Wallace added 20 points and seven boards. Detroit also has lost five in a row on the road.

His team down 90-89, Redd posted four straight points. His free throws with 1:58 to play put Milwaukee ahead by one. Then he added a jumper in traffic 46 seconds later to make it 93-90 in Milwaukee's favor.

Detroit missed a shot on its next possession. The Bucks missed two shots on their next offensive trip. But Van Horn's hook shot, off an offensive rebound, put them ahead 95-90 with 9.8 seconds left.

Desmond Mason hit one of two foul shots with 1.5 seconds left to cap the scoring.

Milwaukee took an early 28-12 lead. Van Horn's three-pointer capped the early burst with less than five minutes to go in the first. Redd accounted for nine of their points.

Detroit, which got within 31-22 on a dunk by Darvin Ham with 27 seconds to go in the first, trailed 33-22 at the end of the quarter.

In the second quarter, the Pistons opened on a 9-4 run. A layup by Zaza Pachulia 4:14 into the second put them ahead 42-26.

But the Pistons rallied to get within 49-48 at halftime. Elden Campbell accounted for eight points during their 22-7 surge to end the second.

Less than four minutes into the third quarter, Detroit took a 57-51 advantage on a basket by Wallace.

A jumper by James, with 4:46 left in the third, regained a 58-57 edge for the Bucks.

After the teams traded leads, Milwaukee went ahead 71-65 at the end of the third on a running hook shot by Marcus Fizer with 1:28 left in the quarter.

Detroit kept it close then took its first lead of the fourth quarter, 86-85 on two free throws by Chauncey Billups with 3:29 to go.

The Pistons went ahead 90-89 on a layup by Richard Hamilton with 2:15 left in the fourth.

Game Notes

Maurice Williams posted 10 points and 13 assists for the Bucks, who have won five of the last 11 meetings in the series...Hamilton registered 14 points for the Pistons, who have lost five of their last seven games in Milwaukee...Pachulia delivered eight points and four boards for Milwaukee, which converted 20-of-23 from the foul line to improve to 5-1 at home this season.
