NBA Game Summary - Chicago at Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Shawn Marion finished with 21 points and a season-high 16 rebounds to lead Phoenix to a 100-82 win over Chicago at America West Arena.
Amare Stoudemire contributed 21 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Suns, who posted their fifth straight victory for the first time in two seasons. Steve Nash chipped in with 15 points and six assists.
Ben Gordon -- who hit 7-of-16 shots from the field -- scored a career-high 20 points off the bench for the Bulls, who tied the franchise record by losing nine games to start a season. They also accomplished the feat to open the 1967-68 campaign.
Eddy Curry added 17 points for Chicago, which has dropped seven straight in Phoenix.
Down 10-9, the Suns put together a 14-4 run. Nash hit a three-pointer with less than five minutes remaining in the first to put them ahead 23-14.
A 12-foot jumper by Gordon brought Chicago within 27-24 with less than two minutes to go in the first, but it still trailed 32-24 at the end of the quarter.
Gordon drained two three-pointers early in the second, including one less than three minutes in, to get the Bulls within 38-35.
Leading 50-46, Phoenix ended the second on a 15-4 surge. Stoudemire delivered six of the points, and Nash's foul shot in the final 30 seconds put the team ahead 65-50 at halftime.
"We fell too far behind at halftime," said Bulls head coach Scott Skiles. "[Phoenix] is not a team you want get too far behind."
Early in the third quarter, a layup by Stoudemire and a jumper by Nash opened a 69-50 advantage for the Suns.
"We weren't playing as well as we should have been," Skiles said. "And we fell off the cliff. We became unhinged."
Chicago got within 71-61 on a short jumper by Gordon with less than three minutes to go in the third, but trailed 77-64 at the end of the quarter.
Stoudemire's dunk less than four minutes into the fourth quarter capped a eight-point flurry that put the Suns ahead 85-64.
The Bulls pulled within 85-68 on a basket by Curry less than a minute later, but no closer.
Joe Johnson registered 11 points for the Suns, who posted a season-low 12 points in the third quarter...Tyson Chandler finished with 10 points and nine boards for the Bulls, who fell to 0-6 on the road this season...Casey Jacobsen and Leandro Barbosa delivered 10 points apiece off the bench for Phoenix...Stoudemire scored at least 30 points in his four previous games...Chicago has lost nine of its last 13 in Phoenix.
