Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Eddy Curry scored a team-high 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, as Chicago defeated Indiana 85-71 at the United Center.

Kirk Hinrich shot 3-of-7 from three-point range and finished with 19 points, while Luol Deng netted 13 for the Bulls, who have won three straight for the first time in two years.

Jamaal Tinsley paced Indiana with a game-high 33 points. Tinsley ended 11- of-31 from the field and 10-of-15 from the line. Jeff Foster added 12 with 18 rebounds for Indiana, which had its brief two-game winning streak snapped.

"I think we just missed a lot of shots while they (Chicago) hit theirs," said Tinsley. "

Trailing 70-62 in the fourth, Indiana fought back and trimmed the deficit to 72-68 on Tinsley jumper at the 5:50 mark.

However, the Bulls responded with a 8-0 spurt, capped by a Hinrich free throw, to push their lead to 80-68 with 3:13 left. Indiana, which scored just nine points in the stanza, never recovered from that point.

"We came out played pretty well throughout the game defensively," said Hinrich. "We did a pretty good job."

The Bulls held a 29-21 lead after 12 minutes of action, but the Pacers fought back in the second. Foster's layup trimmed the deficit to 42-38 with 2:48 left before halftime.

Chicago then carried a 48-42 lead into the locker room.

The Bulls attempted to pull away as a Deng dunk pushed their advantage to 59-48 with 8:42 left in the third quarter.

Indiana, though, fought back and cut the deficit to eight points, 70-62, as both teams entered the fourth quarter.

"We fought them all night," said Indiana head coach Rick Carlisle.
