NBA Game Summary - Portland at Cleveland

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - LeBron James posted game highs with 25 points and 11 rebounds to go along with seven assists to lead Cleveland over Portland, 112-88, at Gund Arena.
Jeff McInnis netted 18 points and nine helpers for the Cavaliers, who have won back-to-back games on the heels of a two-game skid. Cleveland, which also received a season-high 18 points from Ira Newble, is an impressive 9-1 as the host this season.
"(James) is as good as advertised," said Portland head coach Maurice Cheeks.
Darius Miles scored 21 points and grabbed six boards for the Trail Blazers, who have lost five of seven. Portland is 3-8 on the road this season.
The game was tied at 53-53 early in the third quarter, but the Cavaliers responded with a 17-5 run and they never looked back. McInnis capped off the burst on a bucket to give his team a 71-58 advantage with 3:47 left in the frame.
Cleveland was in front 80-64 after 36 minutes and led by double digits the entire fourth quarter. The largest margin for the Cavs was 28 in the final minute at 112-84.
The Cavs forced 22 turnovers and shot 54 percent from the field.
"Our team has come far," said James.
No team led by more than five in a tight first quarter and the Trail Blazers took a 20-19 edge into the second quarter.
The game was knotted at 45 with just over two minutes left in the first half, but the Cavaliers tallied six unanswered points heading into the intermission to take a 51-45 edge at halftime.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim missed the game for Portland with a knee injury.
In 2003-04, the teams split a pair of contests...The Blazers have lost six of nine at Cleveland...Cleveland and the Blazers will meet once more during the regular season. Portland hosts the Cavaliers on January 19, 2005 at the Rose Garden.
