NBA Game Summary - Miami at Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Eddie Jones scored 27 points, including nine during a key stretch in the third quarter, as the Miami Heat held off the Milwaukee Bucks, 113-106, at the Bradley Center.
Shaquille O'Neal tallied a season-high 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Heat, who have won two of three after dropping two straight. Dwyane Wade added 18 points and seven assists for Miami, which used a 21-7 run in the third quarter to build a 19-point lead.
"I told him (Jones) I needed him, I needed him to step up," O'Neal said. "And, he did that for me."
Michael Redd had 33 points for the Bucks, whose late rally came up short. Keith Van Horn added 23 points and six rebounds, as Milwaukee dropped its second straight to fall to .500 through six games this season.
With the Bucks leading 54-52 with 6 1/2 minutes remaining in the third, Jones began the decisive run with seven straight points. He then capped the burst with layup with 1 1/2 remaining for a 73-61 cushion.
"We were confused on the defensive end, Redd said. "Give them credit."
The Heat went into the fourth ahead by 11, 76-65, and extended the advantage to 81-65 after a pair of Wade free throws and a Damon Jones three.
Milwaukee later drew within 106-100 on a Van Horn three-pointer with 31 seconds on the clock, but had trouble getting any closer.
O'Neal made his final eight shots for the Heat, who shot a blistering 58.7 percent from the field compared to 48 percent for the Bucks.
Miami, which ended a three-game losing streak in Milwaukee, led 24-23 after one quarter, but the Bucks grabbed a 43-40 edge going into halftime.
Damon Jones finished with 17 points as the Heat rebounded after losing in Minnesota on Tuesday night.
Desmond Mason had 18 points off the bench for Milwaukee.
Wade fouled out for the first time in his NBA career. He was hit with a technical after jawing with the officials when heading to the bench...Miami ended a two-game road slide and improved to 3-2 as the visitor...Milwaukee lost for the first time in four home games this season...Prior to the game, the Bucks placed Toni Kukoc on the injured list with a right hip strain. The club activated Mike James off the IL and he finished his first contest with Milwaukee with 11 points and four assists off the bench. James was acquired from Detroit in the offseason.
