Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Chris Bosh scored 20 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 104-95 victory over the previously-unbeaten Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.
Vince Carter had 16 points and Loren Woods netted 14 for Toronto, which rebounded from its first loss of the season on Tuesday versus the Sacramento Kings. The Raptors also ended a two-game slide in Utah.
"I just wanted to take advantage of the mismatches," Bosh said. "We were playing a good team so we knew coming in we had to be ready."
Raja Bell paced the Jazz with 20 points off the bench. Carlos Boozer scored 19 points and Keith McLeod chipped in 16 for the Jazz, who opened the 2004-05 campaign with four consecutive wins.
The Jazz were searching for their best start since opening the 2000-01 campaign with five consecutive wins.
The Raptors rallied from a six-point deficit in the fourth quarter, going on an 11-2 spurt and holding off the Jazz in the final two minutes after Rafer Alston's three-pointer put Toronto ahead 98-91. Alston ended with 10 points.
Toronto never relinquished the lead and kept Utah under 100 points for the first time this season. The Jazz shot 41 percent from the floor.
Utah held a 29-28 lead after the first quarter, but the Raptors clawed back and grabbed a 54-52 halftime lead.
Toronto made 48 percent of its shots...Utah had a 45-41 edge on the boards...Jalen Rose finished with 11 points for the Raptors, while Gordan Giricek added 14 points for Utah...Raptors forward Donyell Marshall left in the second quarter with a strained right hamstring.
