NBA Game Summary - Seattle at San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Ray Allen netted 29 points to lead Seattle over San Antonio, 102-96, at the SBC Center.
Rashard Lewis added 16 points and five rebounds for the SuperSonics, who have won three straight and seven of their last eight.
Tim Duncan poured in 39 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked four shots for the Spurs, who had an eight-game win streak snapped. San Antonio fell for the first time at home this year and in nine games as the host.
"They're a very good team," Duncan said. "Very well-coached, they execute well. We have respect for them."
The Sonics only led by two after the opening quarter, but outscored San Antonio 29-12 in the second and they cruised to the victory. Seattle started the second with eight straight points to push its advantage to 39-29, before taking a 60-41 lead into the intermission.
The Spurs won the third, 27-16, but still trailed 76-68 heading into the final frame.
With just seven minutes remaining, Malik Rose scored on a layup to get the Spurs to within two, but they could get no closer.
San Antonio was still in the game in the final two minutes, but Antonio Daniels sank a deadly three-pointer to give Seattle a 96-87 lead and seal the victory with 1:09 to play.
"Right now, we're just one of the teams with the best records," Allen said. "We've got to beat teams consistently to be talked about as one of the best teams."
The Spurs only shot 41 percent from the floor.
No team led by more than three in a tight first quarter and Seattle took a 31-29 edge into the second.
Seattle is 7-3 on the road this season...This was the second meeting of the season between the two teams. On November 7th, Seattle defeated the Spurs, 113-94, at KeyArena...It was the first time in five games Lewis did not score scored 20 or more points.
