Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Rashard Lewis scored a game-high 27 points to lead Seattle over San Antonio, 113-94, at KeyArena.

Ray Allen added 24 points for the SuperSonics, who defeated the Spurs for the first time in the last eight meetings. Seattle's previous victory in this series came on November 24, 2002 at San Antonio.

"San Antonio is a tough team," said Lewis. "We have not beaten them in a few years, we knew that going in."

The Spurs led 14-12, but the Sonics ended the first frame on a 13-5 run and led the rest of the way. Fortson capped off the burst with a field goal with 57 seconds left and Seattle took a 25-19 edge into the second quarter.

"Our bench and our big guys have been playing well for us," added Lewis.

In the second, Seattle pushed its edge to 12 on a few occasions. The last came when Antonio Daniels hit a bucket with 6:31 left to make it a 40-28 contest.

However, the Spurs posted nine of the next 11 points to cut the deficit to 42-37, before trailing 46-39 at the intermission.

Seattle, which won every quarter, posted 26 points in the third to take a 72-62 lead into the final 12 minutes. In the third, Reggie Evans capped an 11-2 run for Seattle that put his team ahead 57-43 with 8:11 left.

With a 41-point fourth, Seattle sealed the victory. The biggest lead of the game, which was 21, came with just about a minute left when Vladimir Radmanovic scored on a breakaway to make it a 111-90 contest.

Seattle has won two straight after starting the season with a pair of losses.

San Antonio's Brent Barry, who left Seattle and signed with the Spurs as a free agent in the offseason, netted eight points against his former team. Barry had spent five seasons with the SuperSonics.
