The Spurs poured it on in the fourth quarter, as they outscored the Kings, 30-16 in the final frame, and a running 14-footer by Leonard with under eight minutes to play in the game pushed the San Antonio lead over the 20-point threshold, 110-89.

A pair of free throws by Terrence Williams cut the deficit to 19, but the Spurs were unfazed and rolled to the easy win, with a deep three from Jackson at the tail end of the game, giving San Antonio its largest lead of the night, 127-100.

After a tightly-played first quarter which featured five lead changes and one tie, the Spurs held a slim 29-28 lead.

The second quarter was just as close, featuring six lead changes and four ties, and a three-point play by Mills at the tail end of the frame gave the Spurs a 58-57 advantage at halftime.

"It's frustrating, but they're a good team and they're fighting for a number one spot," Cousins said. "There's a reason they're fighting for that top spot, they're a darn good team and they came out and played a good game."
