New York, NY (Sports Network) - Brandon Jennings scored a season-high 36 points and dished out five assists, as the Milwaukee Bucks picked up their first road victory of the season with a 100-86 decision over the New York Knicks.

Shaun Livingston added 18 points and five rebounds for the Bucks, who improved to 1-8 away from Brew City this season. Drew Gooden tallied 10 points and 11 boards.

Carmelo Anthony ended with 35 points and five rebounds for the Knicks, who have lost five in a row. Amare Stoudemire donated 15 points and 11 boards.

"Right now we have to stay together," Stoudemire said. "We have to stay together as a team and work things out."

The Bucks led by as many as nine in the first quarter and took a 27-23 lead into the second.

New York started the second period on a 7-2 spurt to take the lead. Josh Harrellson and Landry Fields each made three-pointers to make it a 30-29 game.

The remainder of the frame was a back-and-forth battle that resulted in the Bucks taking a 55-51 edge into the locker room.

Ahead by four, 61-57, with 9:14 left in the third quarter, Milwaukee scored six straight points to create some distance. Livingston tallied four points during the surge to give the visitors a 67-57 lead.

The Bucks used a 9-0 run later in the stanza to build a 78-62 margin on a pair of Jennings jumpers with 2:11 to go. The score was 79-67 after three periods.

The Knicks never got closer than nine in the final frame.

"Everyone that came into the game did something positive for us," Bucks head coach Scott Skiles said.

Game Notes

New York lost three of four meetings with Milwaukee last season and is just 2-11 in the past 13 matchups between the teams. The Bucks have won six of seven trips to the Big Apple...Andrew Bogut had 11 points for the Bucks, who shot 47.6 percent from the floor...The Knicks went 26-for-33 from the foul line...New York turned the ball over 25 times, leading to 18 Milwaukee points.
