NBA Game Summary - Washington at Portland

Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Gerald Wallace finished with a game-high 28 points as the Portland Trail Blazers handled the Washington Wizards, 111-76, at Rose Garden.
Nicolas Batum and LaMarus Aldridge both scored 22 points with Batum grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds. Wesley Matthews posted 15 points before fouling out and Andre Miller dished out 11 assists for the victors.
Portland has won four of five overall and five straight at home.
"We played with a lot of poise," said Aldridge.
Jordan Crawford and Kevin Seraphin were the only two Wizards who scored in double-digits with Crawford getting 12 and Seraphin posting 10 on 5-of-9 shooting off the bench. John Wall added nine points and seven assists in the loss.
The Wizards, who are now a dismal 1-32 on the road this season, fell for the seventh time in eight games and have not won in Portland since March 28, 2005.
"Their quickness against you ends up being a problem. What they were is quicker," said Wizards head coach Flip Saunders.
Aldridge posted 14 points in the first quarter and Portland carried a 35-29 lead into the second.
The Wizards, who shot 50 percent from the field in the first, were plagued by 10 early fouls that allowed the Blazers to pull away with a 10-of-11 showing at the line.
The Blazers' lead fluctuated between four and eight points for the opening minutes of the second quarter until a 12-2 run, capped by Aldridge's turnaround jumper, widened it to 54-39.
A Matthews layup pushed the Blazers' advantage to 19 in the closing seconds of the half. Mustafa Shakur's jumper pulled the Wizards within 62-45 entering the locker room.
The Wizards were held to only 14 points on 5-of-18 from the field in the third quarter. They also committed nine turnovers, leading to 15 points, and the Blazers took a commanding 91-59 lead into the fourth.
The game was never in contention after that.
Rudy Fernandez added 10 points in a reserve role for Portland, which made 26- of-31 from the line...The game featured 48 combined turnovers (27 Washington, 21 Portland)...The Blazers held a 45-32 rebounding advantage...The Wizards' only road win this season came in Cleveland on February 13...Nick Young missed the game for Washington with a bruised left knee.
