NBA Game Summary - Chicago at Minnesota

Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Carlos Boozer scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, as the Eastern Conference's best team, the Chicago Bulls, cruised past Minnesota, 108-91, at Target Center.

Derrick Rose had 23 points and 10 assists for the Bulls, who got back on the winning track after having a 14-game home winning streak snapped with a loss to Philadelphia on Monday. Luol Deng had 13 points in the win, while center Joakim Noah missed the game due to a right ankle sprain.

Timberwolves forward Kevin Love returned after missing three straight games with a left groin strain and was a rebound short from his usual double- double with 16 points and nine boards.

Anthony Tolliver added 14 points and Michael Beasley scored 12 for Minnesota, which lost its eighth straight game.

"They have a lot of good vets on their team," Love said of the Bulls. "They have guys all the way through the lineup that know their roles and play to get the most out of each other."

The Bulls led from the start, claiming its biggest lead of 26 in the final quarter.

"We did a great job," Boozer said. "I thought we did a good job spreading the floor. We did a good job rebounding and passing."

Rose scored 13 first-quarter points as the Bulls pulled away early with a 30-19 lead after 12 minutes of play.

The Bulls kept their distance in the second, shooting 61.1 percent from the field. Kyle Korver's long jumper with time running out gave the Bulls a 57-44 lead at the break.

Chicago grew its lead to 20 late in the third on Deng's reverse layup off a Boozer feed. Deng then found Boozer a few minutes later for a dunk to give the Bulls their biggest lead of the quarter, 86-62.

Chicago eased up in the final quarter, keeping at least a 13-point lead.

Game Notes

Anthony Randolph had 15 points for the Timberwolves, who shot 41.2 percent from the field...C.J. Watson chipped in 13 points for Chicago, which made 50.6 percent of its shots...The Bulls dominated the glass with a 50-34 advantage.
