NBA Game Summary - Miami at Toronto

(Wednesday, February 16th)

Final Score: Miami 103, Toronto 95

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Dwyane Wade scored 28 points, LeBron James nearly recorded a triple-double and Chris Bosh won in his return to Toronto, as the Miami Heat got by the Raptors, 103-95.

James ended with 23 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, while Bosh, Toronto's all-time leader in numerous categories, totaled 25 points and six boards in Miami's 10th win in 11 games entering the All-Star Break.

Andrea Bargnani netted 38 points and DeMar DeRozan added 24 for the Raptors, who were vying for back-to-back wins for the first time since the opening week of December.

This was Bosh's first trip back to Air Canada Centre, where he spent the first seven years of his career before joining the Heat as a free agent this off- season. He received a chorus of boos every time he touched the ball, but his team had the last laugh.

"It was an interesting environment," Bosh said. "We've been going through this (getting booed) everywhere we go. It motivates us,"

Despite only hitting five field goals in the fourth quarter, the Heat led throughout the frame behind a 13-of-17 performance from the foul line.

They were on top 80-72 coming in, and the closest the Raptors got in the final stanza was four on several occasions, the last coming on a DeRozan bucket with 1:12 to play.

James tipped in his own miss at the other end for a 101-95 edge, and Bargnani and Amir Johnson each missed inside on Toronto's next possession.

Miami got an offensive rebound the next time down, and Bosh fittingly sealed the win with two free throws with 18.7 seconds on the clock.

"We put ourselves in a good situation in the fourth quarter. We had a shot, but it didn't work out," Bargnani said.

Neither team led by more than six in the first half, with the Heat holding a slim 29-27 lead after 12 minutes and a 50-46 edge at the intermission.

After trading baskets to start the third, Wade and Bosh combined for an 11-2 run that yielded a 63-50 advantage just over 3 1/2 minutes in.
