The Kings responded with an 11-1 flurry to take the lead for good. Cousins had six points during the spurt, which Casspi ended with a three-pointer for a 107-99 lead with 1:46 remaining.

DeRozan's jumper and two free throws cut the gap to four, 107-103, with 1:20 to play. After Cousins made a jumper, Bargnani made a shot from beyond the arc to get the Raptors within three, 109-106, with 50.3 seconds to go.

Kleiza and Leandro Barbosa missed layups as time expired.

"Cousins did a great job of getting them second chances and being a beast inside and that hurt us," Toronto head coach Jay Triano said.

Toronto closed out the first quarter on a 19-6 run to take a 33-16 lead. Sacramento outscored the Raptors by a 35-29 margin in the second stanza to make it a 62-51 game at the half.
