NBA Game Summary - Chicago at Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Derrick Rose, in his first game back from injury, scored 23 points and dished out five assists as the Bulls snapped a 10-game losing streak with a 98-84 effort over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.
Rose, who missed the last four games with a sprained left wrist, made 9-of-16 shots and 4-of-6 from three-point range. He showed no signs of hurting for the Bulls, who won for the first time since February 26 against Portland.
Kirk Hinrich racked up 17 points and 11 assists, and Brad Miller added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists as Chicago won the season series 3-1. The Bulls are 2 1/2 games behind Toronto for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
"We moved the ball better and got some open shots," said Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro. "But our defense was better and I think there was more of a rhythm to what we were doing tonight.
Marreese Speights paced the Sixers with 17 points and 11 boards off the bench, while Samuel Dalembert scored 16, but Philadelphia lost for the seventh time in eight contests.
"I think they are doing what we want them to do but not at the level we want them to do it," said Sixers coach Eddie Jordan. "They work hard. We just haven't done it at that level consistently."
In the final quarter, the Sixers fought to cut the deficit to as low as 12 but didn't trim the lead any further.
A Rose triple with 2:45 left in the opening quarter pushed the Chicago lead to 21-14, but Speights hit a free throw and drained a jumper in the final 1 1/2 minutes as the Sixers ended the quarter down 21-17.
Up 24-19 in the second quarter, the Bulls mounted a 14-4 stretch to lead by 15 at 38-23 with just under seven minutes remaining. The Sixers finished the half down 52-40.
The Bulls pushed the edge to as many as 21 points in the third before finishing the frame up 77-62.
Sixers guard Thaddeus Young sat out his third straight game with a right thumb fracture and Lou Williams did not play in the second half due to unknown reasons...The Sixers made just 1-of-17 from three-point range...The Bulls had 29 assists to the Sixers' 16...Hakim Warrick finished with 13 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Bulls...Chicago next plays on Monday at home against Houston...Philadelphia next plays on Monday at home against Orlando.
