New York, NY (Sports Network) - Rashard Lewis scored 26 points and pulled down eight rebounds in Orlando's 114-102 win over the Knicks, as the Magic sent New York to its fifth consecutive defeat.
Dwight Howard tallied 24 points and 16 boards for the Magic, who have won three in a row and eight of their last nine games. Vince Carter scored 23 as Orlando overcame a 17-of-31 effort at the foul line to beat the Knicks for the eighth time in the last 10 encounters.

Lewis had 13 of his points during the third quarter, when the Magic turned a two-point lead into a nine-point cushion moving to the fourth.
"I thought the third quarter we really did a good job," said Magic coach Stan Van Gundy. "We got a little bit of a lead. Nate was scoring, but we were scoring at the other end, so we were able to hang. We were in pretty good shape."
Duhon's layup moved the Knicks to a 61-60 edge with 7:19 left in the quarter, but the Magic responded with an 11-1 spurt. Lewis, who finished 5-of-9 from three-point range, hit a pair from beyond the arc during the surge.
Ahead 82-73 moving to the final quarter, the Magic saw their lead trimmed to six midway through the fourth, but Howard's jump hook put the lead at 94-86. Lewis then sank a pair of free throws and Orlando wasn't threatened down the stretch.
"We're competing well against these teams. Unfortunately, it's kind of all for nothing if you don't come up with a victory out of it," said Lee.
Orlando led 31-29 after 12 minutes and held a 54-52 edge at the half.
The Knicks went 9-of-13 at the charity stripe...Orlando held a 47-37 rebounding advantage...Howard went 8-of-9 from the field...The Magic have won their last six road games.
