San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Zach Randolph netted 28 points with 15 rebounds as the Memphis Grizzlies held off the playoff-bound San Antonio Spurs, 107-99, at the AT&T Center.
Rudy Gay finished with 21 and seven boards and O.J. Mayo scored 20, as the Grizzlies broke their three-game losing streak.
Mike Conley chipped in 14 and nine assists as Memphis won in San Antonio for the first time in 11 trips.
Manu Ginobili, who inked a new multi-year contract on Friday, scored 26 points with eight boards and converted on 11-of-11 from the free throw line to lead the Spurs, who dropped their second straight. The Spurs are tied with Portland for seventh in the Western Conference.
Tim Duncan got the Spurs within one at 100-99 with 2 1/2 minutes left, but Conley's running jumper and a Darrell Arthur mid-range jumper put Memphis ahead by five, 104-99, which ultimately sealed the win.
San Antonio shot 52.4 percent in the opening quarter to take a 30-21 lead, but Memphis outscored the Spurs, 37-27, in the second to squeak out a 58-57 halftime advantage.
Mayo's layup put the Grizzlies ahead by eight, 67-59, with 9:40 left in the third, but Ginobili capped off a Spurs stretch to take a 72-71 edge. With the game tied at 80, Memphis scored six of the final eight points heading into the final quarter.
Both teams shot exactly 50 percent in the first half...San Antonio converted on 37.8 of its shots in the second half...Arthur finished with 13 points for Memphis...Matt Bonner chipped in 19 off the bench for the Spurs...Dallas won the Southwest Division on Friday due to its win over Portland and San Antonio's loss.
