NBA Game Summary - LA Lakers at Utah

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Lamar Odom made 7-of-9 shots from the field on his way to 25 points while pulling down 11 rebounds, as the banged-up Los Angeles Lakers dominated the Utah Jazz, 96-81, at EnergySolutions Arena.
Pau Gasol added 22 points and 19 rebounds for the Lakers, who were playing without All-Star guard Kobe Bryant for a third straight game due to a balky left ankle. Center Andrew Bynum missed his second consecutive contest with a bruised right hip.
Jordan Farmar donated 18 points off the bench for Los Angeles, which has won three in a row. Shannon Brown chipped in 11 points for the victors.
Andrei Kirilenko finished with 17 points and five rebounds for the Jazz, who saw a nine-game winning streak come to an end. Wesley Matthews made 6-of-7 shots from the floor on his way to 13 points off the bench. Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams had 11 points apiece, with Boozer pulling down 10 rebounds and Williams dishing out 10 assists in defeat.
Ahead 19-18 with over three minutes to play in the first quarter, the Lakers scored the final 12 points of the period to create some breathing room. Farmar bookended the burst with a jumper and three-pointer to give Los Angeles a 31-18 lead after 12 minutes.
A D.J. Mbenga slam extended the Lakers� lead to 42-26 with about 8 1/2 minutes remaining in the second, and LA held a 56-41 margin at the half.
Los Angeles cruised to victory in the second half.
Despite the loss, the Jazz are 13-2 in their last 15 games..Utah had won 10 straight at home coming into Wednesday. They are 22-7 at home this season...Odom was questionable coming into the game due to a sore right foot...Los Angeles has won nine of the last 12 matchups between the teams.
