NBA Game Summary - Milwaukee at Indiana

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - T.J. Ford made 14-of-21 field goals and matched a career high with 34 points, as the Indiana Pacers topped the Milwaukee Bucks, 107-99, at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Mike Dunleavy, Jarrett Jack and Rasho Nesterovic each scored 14 points for the Pacers, who were without leading scorer Danny Granger, as he sat out with a sore knee. Troy Murphy finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds for Indiana.
Indiana, which has won three of four overall, increased its home winning streak to six games.
Charlie Villanueva had 28 points to pace the Bucks, who have lost two in a row. Richard Jefferson scored 19, but missed two free throws late in the fourth quarter, as Milwaukee fell to 9-19 on the road this season.
Down by double digits for much of the first half, and trailing by 12 at intermission, Milwaukee climbed back in the game with a strong third quarter. Jefferson immediately got the Bucks back within single digits, as his free throw and three-pointer to begin the stanza cut Milwaukee's deficit to 63-55.
With a little over seven minutes remaining, Jack's basket and Murphy's triple upped Indiana's lead to 10, but the Bucks responded with eight consecutive points. Jefferson had four points in the burst, and Luc Mbah a Moute's jumper capped it to make it a 72-70 contest with just over five minutes left.
The teams traded baskets the remainder of the third, which ended with Indiana holding an 82-78 edge. It remained a close game through the early part of the fourth quarter as the Pacers still held a lead of a couple possessions.
With a little over two minutes remaining and the Bucks down four, Mbah a Moute intercepted a pass under his own basket. That led to a trip to the free throw line for Jefferson with 2:00 left, but he missed both.
Milwaukee then got another defensive stop on the next Pacers possession, and won the subsequent jump ball, but couldn't recover. Indiana capitalized with a Ford layup for a 103-97 advantage with 1 1/2 minutes remaining, and the Pacers held on from there.
The Pacers controlled a blistering first quarter, using a 13-0 burst to break a tie and go ahead 19-6 with seven minutes still remaining. Indiana had three treys in the span, including two from Dunleavy.
Later in the quarter, Nesterovic capped a five-point burst with a jumper to up Indiana's lead to 34-14 with 1 1/2 minutes left, and the home team was in front 38-22 going into the second.
Indiana held a sizable lead for most of the second quarter, though Luke Ridnour ended the half with four points to get Milwaukee within 63-51 at the break.
Indiana improved to 12-9 at home this season....Ford's other 34-point game came on April 5, 2006, when he was with Milwaukee...Villanueva also had eight boards and four assists for the Bucks, while Ramon Sessions added 16 points. Ridnour and Mbah a Moute each had 10 points for Milwaukee...Jack had six assists for the Pacers.
