(Sunday, March 22nd)
Final Score: Toronto 100, LA Clippers 76
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Chris Bosh was one of five Raptors to reach double figures in scoring, finishing with 16 points and 13 rebounds, as Toronto pummeled the Los Angeles Clippers, 100-76, at the Air Canada Centre.
Jose Calderon had 15 points and dished out six assists, while Shawn Marion totaled 14 points and 13 boards for the Raptors, who won for just the second time in their last 11 games. Anthony Parker contributed 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals.
"Any win right now is great regardless who we are playing or what the situation is," Marion said. "It is a win for us and you can see the life of everyone in here. We just have to try to keep it going."
Zach Randolph poured in a game-best 20 points to pace the Clippers, who have dropped 10 of 12. Baron Davis was a putrid 3-of-15 from the floor en route to 12 points. Eric Gordon and Steve Novak both donated 11 points in the loss.
"Other than Randolph, our starters didn't make shots," said Los Angeles coach Mike Dunleavy. "We gave them a lot of opportunities. They just came in and got us there, on the offensive boards. That gave them a lot more possessions. They kind of ran away with the game in the second half."
The home team built a 33-20 lead after the opening 12 minutes and carried a 54-40 advantage to the break. Toronto put the game out of reach in the third quarter, as Marion hit a floater in the lane to make it 72-48 with just under three minutes remaining in the frame.
Los Angeles trailed 77-54 going into the fourth quarter and never mounted a threat.
