NBA Game Summary - LA Clippers at Denver

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Renaldo Balkman scored 22 points and hauled in 11 rebounds to lead the Nuggets in a 107-94 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
"I know the game of basketball," said Balkman. "I just went out there and played without thinking about anything."
Carmelo Anthony recorded 18 points and Nene 17 with 10 boards for the Nuggets, who have won two in a row. J.R. Smith had 17 points and Chauncey Billups 10 with nine assists.
Al Thornton tallied 19 points for the Clippers, who have dropped seven in a row. Eric Gordon and Steve Novak gave 17 points each, and Baron Davis 12 with 10 helpers.
Marcus Camby, who played the last six seasons in Denver, had 11 points, seven rebounds and five steals in his first return to the Pepsi Center since being traded to LA in the offseason.
"It was cool, I was very appreciative," Camby said of the applause he received during introductions. "It's good to know that I have a lot of support in the city of Denver."
The Nuggets jumped out to a 24-17 lead after the first quarter, but had that trimmed to 51-46 at the intermission.
Anthony's jumper set the tone for eight straight Denver points to open the second half, which gave the home team a 59-46 lead with about 10 minutes left in the third.
The Nuggets led 85-71 heading into the fourth.
The Nuggets' lead hovered in the low-teens in the fourth, before Thornton's two free throws and Novak's three-pointer cut it to 94-85 right around the midway point. LA failed to get any closer down the stretch as Denver scored the next six points and pulled away.
The Nuggets improved to 2-1 on a four-game homestand and will finish it off with a visit from the Nets on Tuesday...Denver is 25-8 at the Pepsi Center this season...The Nuggets have won six straight over the Clips, including a pair of meetings in Los Angeles this season.
