NBA Game Summary - Orlando at Washington

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Mickael Pietrus led a balanced scoring attack with 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, as the Orlando Magic grinded out a 112-103 win over the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center.
Pietrus hit five three-pointers, while Rashard Lewis contributed 19 points for the Magic, who have won six of seven. Dwight Howard registered 18 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high seven assists, while Rafer Alston had 18 points.
Tony Battie had 13 points and seven rebounds in the win.
Antawn Jamison went 13-of-22 from the field for 36 points for the Wizards, who have lost seven of eight and lost both Caron Butler and Andray Blatche to injury. Butler exited in the first half with a hamstring injury and did not return in the second half, while Blatche sprained his ankle.
Nick Young contributed 20 points, while Javaris Crittenton had 10 points, seven assists and five rebounds in a losing effort.
Trailing by six to start the fourth, Washington cut its deficit to one, 89-88, on a one-handed dunk by Young with eight minutes left.
Orlando stretched its lead back to six on a J.J. Redick three, and, after buckets from JaVale McGee and Crittenton made it a two-point game, Lewis drained another three-pointer for the Magic to make it 102-97 with 3:20 to go.
Consecutive traveling violations by Jamison and Crittenton allowed Alston's jumper to make it an eight-point contest with 1:12 left, and the Magic hung on from there.
Lewis and Alston each scored nine in the first quarter, and the Magic led, 30-25, after the opening frame. Orlando extended its advantage to 60-52 at halftime.
The Magic raced out to a 14-point lead in the early minutes of the third, but a 10-0 Wizards run brought Washington to within four, 66-62, on a Young jumper.
Orlando strengthened its lead back to 12 before settling for an 81-75 advantage heading to the fourth.
Orlando swept the season series, 4-0...Blatche had nine points in 15 minutes, while Butler had five points in 19 minutes...Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu (Achilles) missed his second straight game...Orlando has won five straight at Verizon Center.
